Buyers Visiting the Canton Fair for Negotiation and Business Meetings
Buyers are required to apply for a Canton Fair Buyer Badge (also known as Buyer Entry Badge), which can be used for multiple sessions. The Canton Fair Hong Kong Representative Office (hereinafter referred to as “our office”) provides year-round services for processing Buyer Badges. You can choose to apply for and collect your Buyer Badge in advance in Hong Kong for added convenience.
Please note:
Our office only handles Buyer Badge applications for overseas buyers holding foreign passports, Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macau Residents, or Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan Residents.
Below are the instructions for applying for a Buyer Badge at our office:
★ Applying for the First Buyer Badge
Method 1: Pre-application for the First Free Buyer Badge via the BEST (Buyer E-Service Tool) Platform
Important:
The application link for the Buyer Badge is not currently open. It is expected to be available approximately one month before the Canton Fair begins (typically between March-May and September-November each year). For specific opening dates, please contact our office by phone: 852-2838 3278.
Step 1: Submit a Pre-application
If you have not yet applied for your first Buyer Badge, please pre-apply on the Canton Fair official website’s Buyer E-Service Tool (BEST) platform at https://invitation.cantonfair.org.cn/. When applying, make sure to select the pick-up location as the "Canton Fair Hong Kong Representative Office."
After submitting your pre-application online, the review results will be available on the BEST platform or sent to your registered email within 3-7 working days. If your application is approved, you can download and print the “Buyer Badge Pre-application Confirmation” (hereinafter referred to as “Confirmation”) and proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Schedule a Badge Collection Appointment
Once you receive the “Confirmation,” please schedule an appointment with our office for badge collection by email or phone. This will allow us to make arrangements in advance and minimize your waiting time.
Step 3: Collect Your Badge
When collecting your badge, please present the following:
The “Confirmation”
Your original valid overseas identification document
Your business card
Accepted identification documents include: foreign passports, Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macau Residents, or Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan Residents.
Method 2: On-site Pre-registration via QR Code
Bring your original valid overseas identification document and business card to our office. Scan the on-site Pre-registration QR Code to submit your application information and obtain a pre-registration barcode. The Buyer Badge can then be quickly processed on-site.
★ Replacing Your Buyer Badge
The Buyer Badge can be used for multiple sessions of the Canton Fair, so please keep it safe. You can use the same badge to enter the exhibition halls during each session without reapplying. If you need to replace your badge due to personal reasons, please visit our office, scan the on-site Pre-registration QR Code, obtain a pre-registration barcode, and present your old badge along with your original valid overseas identification document. The replacement is free of charge.
★ Reissuing Your Buyer Badge
If you forget to bring your badge or it is lost, you can visit our office, scan the on-site Pre-registration QR Code, obtain a pre-registration barcode, and present your original valid overseas identification document to reissue your Buyer Badge. There is no fee for reissuing the badge. Once reissued, the old badge will automatically become invalid. Please ensure you bring the most recently issued badge to enter the exhibition halls.
