Canton Fair is the largest trade fair in China, where 24000 best Chinese enterprises are trading with 200,000 buyers from all over the world. With the fast economic development, China has become the worldwide manufacturing centre. Chinese enterprises have recognized the importance of product design and their demands of design keep soaring. They need international designers to help them design innovative products which are more appealing to global market.

Chinese government is giving full support to encourage Chinese enterprises to improve their soft power. During the rapid process of product branding, 24000 enterprises hope to access to and utilize international design resource in a more convenient and efficient way. And their huge demand towards design will be a perfect gateway for overseas designers to exploit the booming market in China.

Canton Fair Product Design and Trade Promotion Center (PDC in brief) is set up to meet the demand of Chinese enterprises. It is subordinated to China Foreign Trade Centre who is an affiliated organization of Ministry of Commerce of China. Based on the partnership network developed by Canton Fair in the past decades, PDC extends Canton Fair cooperation to overseas design promotion organization, designer association, famous design companies and independent designers.
